At this time next week, we will be getting ready to fill the 11,000 seats (or joining online streaming http://autode.sk/au-live-stream) for the General Session by Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost.
Between now and next week many of us will be preparing and traveling. I hope everyone has uneventful and safe travels and I am looking forward to seeing you next week. I arrive there Sunday.
A couple notes about the AU5K fun run:
”AU 5K and Fun Run
Grab your running shoes and join us on the Vegas Strip for this annual AU tradition started by avid runner and Autodesk expert Shaan Hurley. What better way to jump start your morning and get your blood pumping while connecting with fellow attendees—all before your AU day begins. Runners of all fitness levels are welcome. 5K and 2.8K route options available.”
- Hundreds will be there out front of the Venetian before the 6am start, including Autodesk CEO Andrew Anagnost.
- You don’t need to sign up to join us Tuesday morning. You also don’t need to run. You can even show up to root us on, and have fun.
- This is not a race, it is a fun gathering where you can run, jog, walk, strut, or crawl.
- I recommend you run at your ability and a good method is run for 3 minutes and walk a minute. This works for me as I can enjoy the sunrise, take photos and videos, and also meet all of the awesome attendees joining us. Its about meeting new people and getting out of the casino and hotel air.
