I hope you had an amazing end of 2018, and are starting 2019 with a renewed energy an excitement for what will come this new year. I spent my end of 2018 the same as last year solo hiking and goofing off on the beautiful Oregon coast. It was amazing that the normally foggy, windy, and rain weather for the past New Years has given way to amazing weather and sunset.
I spent the last day out in the forest early in the morning and then watching the migrating gray whales along the coast. There were many whales but they were way out in the ocean this year so I just watched their spouts as they passed. Some years you see them up close along the cliffs.
I'm looking forward to 2019 as it has been a great start! The Chinese New Year is just a month away on February 5th where it will be year of the pig. This Saturday while volunteering for the FIRST Robotics kick off season, I will also be celebrating my 21st year with Autodesk.
Email me or post a comment if there is something Autodesk related you would like me to cover on this blog in the new year.
Happy New Year!
