Thursday November 16, 2017 was the last and final day of Autodesk University. The day kicked off with the breakfast for thousands of attendees.

There was both industry keynotes being held at the same time so you had to either choose or run between both like I did. The AEC Keynote is larger as the AU attendee is more heavily AEC than MFG but both keynotes were excellent and unveiled many new product features such as the new BIM 360 and Fusion 360 Production and much more.
Architecture, Engineering & Construction Keynote
During this keynote, Autodesk Vice President Nicolas Magnon, Autodesk Director Sarah Hodges, and Autodesk Vice President Jim Lynch will demonstrate how you can harness disruption, such as automation, data and the cloud, to design and build better using our common data platform. Whether you’re an architect, engineer or contractor, we’ll showcase how BIM 360 will help you prepare for the Future of Making Things.

After the keynotes, the exhibit hall opened for the final time.
After lunch, attendees went to their final class sessions as well as more taking advantage of the dogs to pet and helping improve Autodesk products by participating in the many opportunities for feedback and idea sessions.

Autodesk Innovation Strategist Bill O’Connor talked about the future of work, and how we can all make the most of it. The Future of Making-Insights from manufacturing to construction and beyond What exactly is the future of making things? What are the underlying technologies that are changing how we make things, who makes things, and the nature of what we make.
Autodesk Fellow and author, Tom Wujec, shared stories and insights from organizations around the world as they transform cars, buildings, infrastructure, clothing, movies, and much, much more. Wujec is the author of The Future of Making.
The Future of Storytelling-The science of fiction Storytelling can map how the future will shape us, and in doing so explore how we can shape the future.
Autodesk Visual Storyteller, Darren Brooker shared his perspective on how building narratives can help us explore the unknown and expand our understanding of the future. Join Darren to learn how storytelling helps Autodesk imagine, design, and create a better world and to discover how to start shaping your future through storytelling.
At the end of this session we gave away copies of Autodesk’s new book The Future of Making book and Tom Wujec signed them.
