I organized a meeting yesterday in Northern California with my team. What was amazing was the weather in addition to being with my team. It is usually not 74 degrees on the beach just North of the Golden Gate Bridge and it felt like Summer in February. I chose the location to get out of the city and a colleague lives in Muir Beach and had access to a community center with a spectacular beach view. We finished off the productive day with me barbequing and the team socializing while soaking in the view and weather. I also learned a colleague can fold their ear inside itself…I have a photo, but won’t be posting that.
The only downside to the day was running a colleague to his house in the hills high above Mill Valley and then allowing Google Maps to try to guide me back to where I was staying. I was in single lane mountain road purgatory for almost 45 minutes before finding a way out.
A couple photos from the meeting location.
