Autodesk and the Smithsonian have been working together on a reality capture project of historical significance. The team are capturing for the first time the complete inside and outside of the Apollo 11 command module where the astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin sat during the historic mission back in 1969. Apollo 11 was the first spaceflight that put humans on the surface of the Moon.
