This is such a great story and well worth spreading far and wide. I remember speaking with one of the volunteers working on this and just humbled by the use of simple 3D printed parts making a difference and creating so many smiles. Autodesk and Bay Area non-profit KIDmob held a 5 day event Superhero Cyborgs workshop where children with upper limb disabilities gathered at Autodesk’s Pier 9 along with professional designers and engineers to re-imagine prosthetics using their limitless imagination and energy paired with the kid friendly 3D design software Autodesk Tinkercad.
